Sometimes (!) Domino or Notes crashes, and Quincy (on Windows) traces the instructions that was faulty. The problem is that Quincy can make things worse, so I usually turn it off when I have installed a fresh Notes or Domino. Turn it off like this:
- Open a command prompt ("MS-DOS") window
- Go to your Notes / Domino program directory, usually c:\notes\ or c:\domino\
- Issue the command: qnc -u
